Well Maggie has a habit of going through things looking for snacks. We've all learned to keep pocketbooks and even jackets out of beagle nose reach. Even people who visit we tell to put there stuff out of reach.

Well yesterday after my son came home from school, he left his backpack on the ground. I walked by and saw Maggie hovering around it. I shooed her away. In the meantime my son was doing his homework in the dining room. Well I hear a noise and go investigate and there is Maggie with a baggie full of goldfish and a hole bit in the top of it. She grabs the bag and takes off towards the dining room until she realizes my son is sitting there. Once she saw him in front and me behind her she dropped the baggy and gave me the look.... SORRY!!!!

I was laughing the whole time because the baggy was full to the top with the crackers and it was too big for her mouth. But I'm sure she had big plans with those crackers....

My kids bring home a fruit of the day from school everyday and my 7 yr. old son who we call the absent minded professor never remembers to take it out of his backpack so I often hear what..Daisy ate my fruit

I also have to keep my purse out of reach or my gum will be gone
