Well, I knew it would just be a matter of time before a spat between the two. Sure enough, they got into a spat over a chew bone. Toby had finished his and went after Lucky's. After a bit of a fuss, Toby got the bone and Lucky had blood coming off his ear. Wow, are they quick! I was right there in the room and still didn't break it up in time. Lucky's got a little wound on his ear. Poor thing! I hope it doesn't scar. His ears are his crowning glory!!!
Boys will be boys regardless of whether they walk on two legs or four. /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/alien1.gif Give Lucky a tummy rub for me. If you have some antibiotic cream in the house, you might rub a little on the ear.
UH OH.....
Competition over chew toys has caused us to give 'em up at our house.
I sure hope Lucky feels better soon. /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/soapbox.gif
Awwwww, poor Lucky. One of my cats scatched my previous beagle Molly on the ear once, drawing blood. I put a little dab of neosporin on it for a couple of days and it healed fine, with no scaring.
Feel better soon sweet Lucky! Kisses and puppy licks coming your way! /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/kiss.gif
