Oh Sandy, how beautiful. I know what you mean, the other day I was going thru pictures and found one of my saint bernard. I put it in one of those photo holders. I look at it every day and remember the good times with him.

Great pics! What gorgeous animals.

Dave has decided that to honor Roscoe, he wants to make a scrapbook of all our animals and animals that were close to us but belonged to others. In looking through the pics, we've seen so many that have recently been taken from us that it's really sad. At the same time, the pics have brought back so many memories of all our precious friends! And the scrapbook is looking awesome for his first attempt, I'm really proud of him.

Bob,
We got Ruby as a companion for Gunner, the beagle/doxie mix we brought from Hawaii when we returned to the mainland. She was a vizsla mix, extremely intelligent, had the best nose of any dog we've ever had, and was absolutely devoted to Gunner.

Worthless was our daughter's dog. We bought her for Glynda as a puppy. Our dog, Smoke, was supposed to go with Glynda when she got married but, as much as Smoke loved our daughter our home was where she wanted to live. So, we took Glynda to see this litter of lab puppies and she picked Worthless who wasn't worthless at all, but a very sweet and intelligent girl.

Sandy, thanks for the rundown - Ruby looked intelligent and Worthless surely didn't look worthless. I think I'll try to dig out some pictures of my old dogs, it is good to remember those waiting at the Bridge.
