my beagle lilly is 6months old and she is eating her food and sammys who is a malteese and he drops treats becauselilly my beagle wants it sammy is 2 years 7 months what shouldi do please all suggestions welcome helpppppppppppp

Welcome to Beagle World.
We feed ours in seperate rooms. They get fed at regular hours, if any food were left (never known it!) then Id take the bowls up. We watch what ours are up to when we give treats. Snoopy eats twice as fast as Susi so we give Susi her treat first to give her a tiny head start, then make sure Snoopy doesnt go near her until she has finished.

What we do is we feed then in seperate room but we put a baby cate in front of the door so we can see when there done.

Oh boy, our new guy (5 months old) eats like he has never eaten before and like he will never eat again at every feeding! We have a large pen that we put him in at feeding time and our older guy (1.5 year old) eats outside the pen. If we didn't separate them, our older guy would never get to eat. I don't even know if the little guy chews...we should have named him Hoover!
When I give treats, the older guy likes to play with it and savor the treat before finishing it. The little guy just inhales it and runs toward the big guy to grab his, and he has successfully gotten many! I have to hold him back so the other one can enjoy his treats!

In this case there is a pretty simple solution: just place the cat food bowl in a high place. The cat won't have a problem get to its food, but the dog will
