Welcome new owners of the breed! Goober is the longest living one we have known soo far! He is a "Sweet-heart" like Duke was
as an adopted one that lived for 13 yrs as was my first one known
as Snapper! Goober will shortly turn 16 yrs old on 12 April 2008!
Goober is a great example of just how "tough & strong-willed" a
beag can be!!! Sure I may favor the beag breed...But this hound
understands humans more than any other creature!!! /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/thumbup2.gif

I'm NOT a new owner, but I have had dogs for most of my life (and I'll be 69 next week) and I've loved them all, but have NEVER been as bonded with any dog as I am with my Chloe - don't get me wrong, I love each and every one of the tenpack - but I swear she knows what I'm thinking! She was 7 years old yesterday, and still looks and acts like a puppy - she's my little "springer beagle", she makes my heart /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/mad.gif. You just have to love beagles!
