I don't think beagles like to sit (Like most dogs sit) on their butts. I know when I was training the Bagel I came to realize he really doesn't sit, he gets in a sitting position but there is about an millimeter of space between his bottom and the ground and all his weight is on his haunches. I believe that Li'l Girl's pose is the preferred beagle sitting position, I know it is the Bagel’s..

I've noticed that when it rains outside and i without thinking of the wet ground ask ted to sit he does what the bagel does and is like one millimeter from actually being on the ground.

Li'l Girl is so sweet looking. Jersey sits like that too. And like the Bagel, she doesn't always put her butt full on the ground. Especially if it's on the cold tile in the kitchen. She always goes to one of the rugs to sit on when it's treat time.

i love when beagles sit NOT on their butt. Zelda does this all the time... but she doesn't look as lady like doing it as Lil' Girl does though.
