Oh god, I can only wish Pam.
I got Chloe at 3 months old. Was with her the first weekend (which wasn't enough time to crate break her) and she wouldn't stay quiet in there. You know how vocal beagles get, especially when they cry, so after the neighbors started complaining to the management, I just couldn't keep her "caged". She has roaming privilages, which made it very difficult to potty train her.
She is very good when I'm around (even for 12 hours), but when I come back from work, I usually find a small circle of pee.... /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/eek.gif
She knows it's wrong (when she sees I spotted it, she will run behind the sofa... with an "I'm sorry" expression :hi: ), and I believe she just can't hold it (or won't bother when I'm not there) so she gives up.... /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/frown.gif
I would say she is 90% trained by now...
