We are going to meet a family Friday that is interested in Jake. I am hopeful because it is the type of family I would want him to be part of-- they've had beagles before, love animals, have kids, and three other dogs, one of them a Jack Russell mix.

The meeting went well today, but no home for Jake. He made a new friend with this little pocket beagle and we had a good time watching them play. The dog this family picked out was very similar to Gabby and had been dumped off at the vet clinic three weeks ago. I'm glad it's going to a new home.
Two more months Jake WILL have a new home if no one else gets him (wink wink)...
