I have a question I am hoping someone can answer.
I have 2 males and 1 female purebred Beagles. Both of my males have the dark brown eyes and my female has the lighter brown eyes. I have seen many more Beagles recently that this is the case as well and have even noticed it in quite a few pictures here on BW. Is it just something (their genes) that some Beagles have lighter eyes or is it usually the females with the light eyes and the males with the dark eyes?
Just curious if anyone knows.
