I realized yesturday that Darcy likes to go into the cat litter box, take out the cats poo, and EAT IT! /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/Beagleicon.gif Of course I make her drop it and cut her off from the litter box but is this normal?:? My other dogs like to eat the horse manuer but everyone I ask keep telling me theirs do the same. /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/thumbup.gif But I never heard of them eating the cats...is Darcy the only one? /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/PuppyEyes.gif

Traveler and Spook think "kitty crunchies" are a great treat. /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/thsmiley_fistshake.gif Miss Priss usually goes outside, but I've had to be watchful while she's been recovering from her dislocated hip and using a litter box.

Every single dog my family ever had loved to eat out of the litter box. It's just one of those things you wish would go away, but all you can do is be creative in the placement of the box to reduce the likelihood they'll eat that and then come lick you in the face! /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/wave.gif

I can't say how many times Buddy has giving me a big old lick on the face and my response is "Oh no you didn't just lick me after eatting POOP!"....yuck.
