I rescue my beagle a year and a half ago when I got her she has just recovered from a broken leg not really sure how that happen. When I picked her up to bring her home the car ride was, terrible for her she cried shook and barked the whole 2 hrs home. When I take her to the vet etc. It's terrible and I have tried meds blankets with my sent holding her telling her it's ok while my boyfriend drives thunder shirt while all the above helps a little bet she still shakes and whines. I am moving again with a long car ride ahead of us. Any help suggestion would be great appreciated 馃槉

I use a crate in the back seat of the car. Get one that will fit..not too small. Put towels for cushions on the bottom and a towel on top. My dog will either sit or lie down calmly. I tried using a car harness but found that didn't work well. Make sure to secure it so it doesn't wobble. I use a couple of bungie cords.
Give the crate idea a try. Works for my dog.
