It's be bitterly cold in South Dakota, especially in Aberdeen. This AM the dogs were going nuts barking and running from window to window with hair raised and ready to do business...why, because someone had let their Malamute out and didn't chain them properly...and he was running the neighborhood. I know this woman walks her dogs everyday at 10:00.....but he was out running wild. And it's too cold for even this dog to be out like that. We have a day care ctr, a school, and not less than 27 dogs in our neighborhood...and this one was everywhere. So I called Animal Control....big help (not)
and he just chased him down...wouldn't get out of the truck to capture and take him wherever....I sent the boys out after I hadn't seen him for awhile, and sure enough there the dog was around the corner, and we almost had a major battle. Gollee Darn, why can't people take better care of their pets? This was so senseless....and now we stand outside with ours just to be sure we don't have a problem.

I'm not a big cat lover, but this is cruel, inhuman treatment. The week before Christmas before it got bitterly cold. Someone glued a cat, a 7 lbs cat the the highway and left it there. The cat was alive, was saved my a motorist, but died of complications five days later, Five miserable days later. All of his fur had to be removed on t he glued side, his paws were frost bit, and one had to be amputated, one eye removed because the glue had closed it shut. Why? I don't get the humanity or inhumanity of some people. It makes me sick.
