Just hoping all of our BW family is doing okay and staying healthy. I am still working as essential staff (I handle the money). NY is pretty bad but most of the virus cases are downstate in New York City, I am way up in northern NY. Dogs are super happy because my husband is home a lot. Stay safe!

I am working from home here in Toronto. Toby's been laid off (he works retail). He still has a job, but his employer has ceased in-store operations. Hoping either his Employment Insurance or Canadian Emergency Relief Benefit kicks in timely - there's a huge increase in applications. His official 'last' day is tomorrow, though he's not been at work in a week and half, they've been paying as though he is.

So stressful times here, but the dogs are also happy!

Sorry about the lay off but glad you are healthy! We just take it one day at a time. Work has been crazy and it's so odd going from working daily with about 80 people to 10. Yes, the dogs are VERY happy. My husband works for 2 days then is home for 2 days each week.

Hello everybody from California, a virus hot spot like NY. My husband and I have underlying health issues that make this a big concern for us. We and Cassie are hunkered down. Thankfully, I've been a prepper and have a good supply of food, antibacterial supplies, and personal protection. All obtained thinking we would one day be dealing with an earthquake or fire. Who ever thought it would be a virus. We have weeks of human food and Freshpet dog food supply. I got a local independent pet store to deliver more which requires refrigeration. We're in communication with family and neighbors offering support and any needed food or supplies. It looks like this will continue for awhile so best wishes to everybody for good health and sorry for any job disruptions. Had to cancel Cassie's comprehensive exam and dental cleaning for now.

So glad you are all doing well. You were smart to be "preppers". We have stocked up pretty well, if they do quarentine us I think we have a good amount of stuff.

How's everyone handling things? Toby's store is reopened so he's back at work masked. I've been told I'll be working from home at least until September - which frankly is a relief!

(Though my back went from working on the couch, hiking with the dogs around my waist, and about 1 million other things...I am working at the dining room table and getting treatment and it IS improving.)

It's nice enough we can spend time on the balcony, and Xerxes is practicing being quiet when he sees other dogs from up there...mmm treats!)

Here's Xerxes playing with our puppy Agis who at 10 months is twice his size. Neb is doing well, 12 now, he's slowing down. http://instagr.am/p/CBWdp2Jniz1/

That's a great picture!

We are all doing well still. Work is super busy and we have many rules about wearing mask etc. Each morning now when we get to work we have to report right to one room and answer a bunch of COVID questions before we can go to our work areas. New York (upstate) is opening for Phase III today, I think it's too soon. I have a haircut appt today and have to wear a mask.

Ive been going to either the grocery store or appointments. Everyone is wearing masks and keeping a distance from each other. Im doing projects at home to keep busy. I've taken 2 on-line college classes and reading historical books. I also spruced up the patio since it's going to be my staycation and hangout. Here's a picture of the zen patio....

Great patio Cassie! Taking classes seems like a great thing to do right now.

Molly's Mom, that's good they're being thorough about screening at your work. I'm sure it's still nerve-wracking though.

Toronto is held at stage 1 reopening...most of the province has moved to stage 2.

Cassie, that garden is gorgeous!!!

Got my haircut, they were so good about keeping us safe. They took my temperature, had me put hand sanitizer on and asked a bunch of health questions before I was allowed in.

Thanks guys.. Cassie was sure there was a lizard behind the buddha and nearly destroyed the whole set up. I had to put baracades around it to protect it for a couple of days until she lost interest. ..what a stinker! At the other end of the yard a big duck got her attention this morning... lol.
One of the other things Ive done is monitor for sightings of the International space station...its so cool to see it fly over. ive attached a picture.. hope you can see it.

For the first time in several years, I wanted to go on a long vacation for a few months. My family and I were thinking of going to Europe. Now everything has gone awry. But the most important thing for me is that my whole family continues to stay healthy, which is what I wish you
