Homer is in the doghouse!

Saturday was a very busy day for my family & friends, but the
normally mild tempered Homer-the-Huge got into a fight with
Bear the pint-sized weiner dog that had tried to start a
fight with ol Goober! Homer over-reacted to the threat to
Goober & actually punctured Bears hide on his left shoulder!
Bear is ok now, but I/we cannot trust him to play well with
others without constant supervision! Homer is a large mix-
breed hound that Goober raised & adopted as his pup when Homer
was only 9 weeks old, & weighd only 8 lbs but now Homer weighs
over 80 lbs in his fit & trim state! I have always wanted a
large dog, but now I think I will stick to beagles!!!

Oh, Red. I feel for you. I hope you can break Homer of that. Let me know if you do, I'd be interested knowing how you did it. Does he normally get along well with Bear? What started the fight between Bear and Goober?

Well Bear is the only male among their 4 other dogs,& last week
he got into a scuffule with Angel their eldest doxie that is
about a year older than Goober @ 17! She gave him a bite mark
on the upper part of his nose as he started acting big for his
britches! Bear might not have learned his lesson & tried to
pick a fight with a dog that weighs 75#'s more than he does!!!
