Molly is three months and she gets hiccups quite a bit. I asked the vet and he said it was quite normal, but I forgot to ask when they stop. She seems to be fine with the whole thing, but I feel so bad for her when she hiccups. Anyone have the same problem with their puppy?

Oh yeah, all the pups we've had have had the hiccups a lot when they were young. I honestly can't remember what age they grow out of it, but it seems like they lightened up and by aroun 6-8 months, were pretty much gone except for an occasional incident.

I posted the same question a while back, when Maggie was having lot's of hiccups. I was also assured it was normal, and she did indeed grow out of it. She's soon to be 7 months old, and I thinks it's probably been a good couple of months since she's had them.

My vet has also stated that hiccups are quite normal in puppies.

Hiccups are very normal in puppies. I can't remember when they stop but I believe it was somewhere around 6 months or so.
