Do any of your beagles get frequent hiccups? Maggie hiccups at least 3-4 times a day, each episode lasting anywhere from 5-15 minutes. Just wondering if this is a puppy thing, a beagle thing, or just a Maggie thing...

I think Chloe had an episode once (that I've noticed anyway...).
If it is that frequent, maybe you should ask the vet about it. Maybe is food related....

I wouldn't be worried anyhow!

Diesel would get them all the time in the middle of the night when i first brought him home..but as he has grown up he has grown out of it... he only get them when he decides to inhale his food

Maggie got them a couple of times when she was a baby but I wouldn't say it was frequent.

My two used to get them as puppies, I think they grow out of them like babies do.

Zoey gets them at least once a day at first I did'nt know what was happening until she let out a nearly human sounding Hic UPP! Only last bout 5 minutes and never slows her down a bit.
