Hello. My name is Jen. I am Meg's mommy. Her daddy, Mike, and I adopted Meg from a Beagle Rescue about 3 months ago. She is just the sweetest puppy ever! Although she is now about 17 months old, she still is very playful and boy, can she run! She loves to dig in our backyard, she even found a mole one day! haha She is just the quietest beagle also. (indoors) But outdoors, she bays quite loud when she sees a squirrel! Arroooo! By that time, she is usually walking ME! We have been trying to train her on the leash, but we are still working on that. She is a wonderful addition to our little family!

to BW! Meg is just adorable. Looking forward to hearing more adventures. I am just now dealing with a mole problem in my front yard and my Maggie (who is 13+) is becoming increasingly interested in the holes and dug up dirt. She rarely pays any attention to any other animals so this is unusual for her.

Yes Meg loves to dig! She's really fast too. I wouldn't mind her digging up the mole again so we can actually get rid of it. Meg was so funny though. When she found the mole, I was sitting not too far away and I heard a squeeking noise. Well I got up to find Meg INSIDE the hole she dug and was pawing at this animal! She stopped playing with it when she saw me and the mole got away. I don't mind her digging, its actually quite humorous! But then I have to clean all of the dirt (mud if its been raining) out of her paws each time!

Welcome Jen, Mike and Meg...from Jen, Mike and Jersey. We live over in New Port Richey (by Tampa/Clearwater). Meg is a cutie. Where did you adopt her from? Was it Tampa Bay Beagle Rescue, by any chance? I know they do a lot of work in Orlando. I got Jersey from them in 2005. Welcome to the boards!

Yes we did adopt her from Tampa Bay Beagle Rescue. Totally worth the 2 hour drive! And yes, I am familiar with where you are. My friend's dad has a house in New Port Richey, and Mike's mom (although not too far away) lives up in Spring Hill north of you. Small world. So we are thinking Meg may need a sister. :) One day... Then we will definitely call up TBBR! Thanks for the welcome!

Meg LOVES going to the dog park! We take her to one in Baldwin Park because it is really big and she loves to run! I'm surprised we actually get her back each time because she is so fast, but thankfully, she does get tired. haha

Oh, and an update on the mole -- She caught it again! This time Mike grabbed it and threw it in the river in the back of our house. But not before I grabbed my camera. I've never seen something so cute and yet so ugly at the same time before! So now Meg doesnt dig as much anymore. Theres nothing to hunt, I guess! For now ...
