Welcome to Beagle World! My Li'l Girl was about the same age as Doozer when I adopted her in 2000. She had to be potty trained, too, but it didn't take long.

Welcome to BW! I adopted my Maggie when she was about 1 year old -- she is now almost 13. As I recall, it didn't take long to house-train her. Unforunately, we don't know what kind of training our adopted pets had before they come to us and part of the time delay in potty training might be associated with their adjustment to a new environment.
