hi all, just checking in. Sadie and Pooh Bear are doing great.

I am trying Beagle World out on our lap top. Still the same slowness. I'm working with Cox trying to find out what may be wrong.

Thanks guys. The only site I have a problem with is Beagle World. Beagle World is terribly slow. It takes several minutes for it to open and then several minutes to open a post. My hubbie goes to a similiar forum, his fishing forum and it does the same thing. So actually we have 2 sites that are like this, extremely, excruciatingly slow. All other sites on the Internet are fine. I've tried several things that the Cox Communications High Speed Internet Technician has suggested and nothing has helped yet.

I may just have to start using Beagle World at work as it works fine there. We don't have Cox at work.

We have Windows XP, Home Edition, Version 2002, Service pack 2 and we use Internet Explorer 7

Cox had me go in and set the Internet Options in Security and Connections back to the default settings. They had me clean cookies and Temp files and Temp Internet Files. Had me flush the DNS, and check lots of other things all to no avail.

Yes, that does sounds familiar. I have only been e-mailing back and forth with a Cox technician. I need to actually call them or get on the technical support chat. I just haven't been up for that yet. That was I can actually talk back and forth and we can try lots of different things.

Sadie and Pooh had a lovely weekend with me. The weather here in the Florida panhandle is super nice now. It isn't as hot and we have just a hint of fall in the air. Sadie and Pooh laid out in the sun and hunted around the back yard quite a bit. The swimming pool is cooling down. It is refreshinly cool now. Probably about 85 - 86 degrees. About a month ago it was between 90 - 95 degrees. It will soon be too cool for me because I don't like a cold pool.
