Good to hear from you Momof2. Hopefully, you'll have the same success that I had when I couldn't connect to the internet last night. I called tech support, and the fellow had me type in some code. From that he was able to determine that the problem was with Windstream, not my computer.

He sent a service order to Little Rock :conf6: , and I was up and going this morning. Technology never ceases to amaze me.

Windstream had me go to run and type in CMD which opened the DOS window, then he had me type in some other code. That code enabled him to see how much was being sent, and how much was coming in. Turned out, I wasn't receiving all of the incoming.

While he was working with me, he also had me disconnect my ethernet cable from my modem, and that told him whether the problem was with my computer or Windstream.

Does any of this sound familiar to you? It has to be frustrating to not be able to find the cause of the problem. /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/frown.gif
