What a great story! I'm sure Spock and Bones are traffic-stopping cute!
Lucy and Flora never got used to the coupler; they always want to stop at different times. Maybe it would have worked if it had been introduced earlier. They were 3-4 years old before I got one, and they were used to being able to be a leash-length apart by then.
