Help I included some pics, I discovered a bump on max's face that wasn't there before. It seems like a lump or csyst and it's soft, it formed near one of his wiskers. today it was ***** and the scrab type this (with some hairs sorry if tmi) came off when eric inspected. Has anyone's beagles had this, or does anyone have an idea what it is.

Close up

Farther away so you can see where it is on his face.

I'm always suspicious of any lumps and always get a professional opinion on it.

Leia had a lump on her leg that we've never seen before and we took her straight to the vet and apparently it's a ingrown hair that's caused a lump from rubbing on a hard surface. Of couse now it's obvious and she keeps biting at it and pulling the scabs off. As soon as we put the cream on, she's licking it off.

Could be something simple like a sore from an ingrown hair.

That looks more like a spider/bug bite wound than a cyst or a
cancerous growth! A fatty tumor or skin tag will not be
blood red like that, but will be dark grey (most commonly),
but the tumor that Goober had at the base of his tail looked
innocent, but it grew very rapidly & nearly cost him his
tail! Goober has such an active life that he has outlived his
teeth! (As hard as it may be to believe....He has become a
fussy eater)! (Like he was as a puppy)! Now the only food
that will tempt him is Deer meat, pork or chicken! I hope I can
extend his life beyond the 16+ yrs he is now as he is nearly
blind & deaf...but he is not willing to be called home yet!
Goobs still prefers to jump onto my bed rather then use the doggie steps!

Vet time. However, I would agree with Red, probably a bite. But it very well could be an infected hair folicle(s). They also would be red and have a discharge.
