Hey Everyone!

This site and forum came recommended by Spencer's Mom and I am glad to have joined! It looks like a great place for Beagle/Animal lovers to chat and share!

To introduce ourselves, my name is Melanie and I'm from Ottawa, Ontario. I work as a Service Manager for a local landscaping company. My dog's name is Nitro, he is a hound mix (we think beagle/foxhound in all likelyhood). He is adopted so his family tree is rather unknown. I adopted him over a year ago and he is the best dog I could ask for! We have done an Agility Class, some Obedience training and currently we are training/searching for a team to compete in Flyball with.

We are looking forward to learning more about the forums and hope to contribute as much as we can!

to BW! I think you will find our reputation is well-deserved -- this is a great forum. Folks will start bugging you for pictures of Nitro so you'd best get them ready. If you need help with posting them, the how to forum has posts on the various ways to do that. I love watching flyball on tv -- always thought it would be a good sport for a beagle as long as there aren't too many smells along the track!

Judymaggie- Nitro is amazing Flyball Dog!He is one of the only hound in the area from what I have been told. He is very very tennis ball motivated, so he has been extremely easy to train! We have been doing Flyball for about a month and they figure in a month or so he can start competing/looking for a team, so we are very very excited!!

Welcome! Nitro is a great name, especially for a Flyball dog! I would love to see pictures of him. It has been suggested that my Jersey girl may have some Foxhound in her as well, so I'm very curious ot see how they compare!

Thanks for posting that picture!! Its my favorite from the weekend.. when they finally SLEPT! I love how we had to put the water bowl in the giant hole they were digging.. silly dogs!

I am still reading the how-to instructions on posting pictures, but I will try and start a thread tonight with a bunch!!
