Hi

I used to be a member of this forum a couple of years ago,my then username was Whippets Rule and I had a cute little beagle boy called Parker, some of you may remember him.


sadly my little man died in my arms on 24th january this year.
I made the decision to have him pts after his epilepsy became out of control.He also had severe liver disease and he had been twitchy and trembly for a while despite lots of medication.
as well as a full time job as an engineer I luckily also work at a veterinary surgery and having friends as vets is very good sometimes, they all came to work early so my boy could have some peace and dignity.

i just thought I'd add that I'm currently on a waiting list for a beagle dog pup from the same breeder Parker came from but from a different line.

Puppies are due to be born next week.

Thank you..........initially I felt like I had let him down when he most needed me but actually I only did what was best for him.

In two days time I shall be going to see a litter of six week old beagle pups and hopefully putting down a deposit for a tri-colour boy, then it's just a two week wait and he can come home with me......I'll never ever forget Parker for as long as I live but I can't live the rest of my life without a beagle boy in it!!! I still have three elderly whippet boys and a boxer bitch aged five!!!
