yea i never had problems with bagless vacuum, I got a Bissell vacuum cleaner. the only thing i have to do is clean it out every once in awhile. 98% of the time when something is wrong with a vacuum, it is cause dust and stuff builds up in the tubes or filters and the owner don't want to clean it. Which is where i come in and take it off their hand since they say it is junk and bought a new one. Then i clean it up and it would work flawless and i turn around and let a friend have it for cost of what it took to replace a filter or whatever.

Wow! I'm just reading through this thread & am SO surprised to see that most here are saying their Beagles shed copiously!!! The only one I have that sheds much at all is the oldest with a very thick coat, but he's still only a moderate shedder. The others do shed noticably more around this time of year and in spring, when they're blowing coat. Its a temporary thing, tho, and otherwise, they are all light shedders.

I use a stripping comb on their coats or a regular fine tooth comb a few times a week. The stripper really helps to get out the dead undercoat when they blow coat & reduces the shedding. But if the coat isn't healthy to begin with, the stripper really won't help much /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/frown.gif

Curious, what does everyone feed? Diet definitely has the most bearing on how much a dog will shed ...

Can I just say... beagles have nothing on husky hair!!

After one half hour grooming session, we could have got a lot more:

It mightn't look like much but it is actually piled together, I should have spread it out so you get a better idea LOL.

Oops! daisy loves to get into Micha's hair??

LOL!

My Jasmine who is a tri-color hardly sheds, but Maggie who is a lemon sheds on everything! Her hair actually even feels thicker. I take her out on the deck once a week and run just my fingers up and down her back like giving her a massage and that gets so much hair out.

German Shephards do shed 365 days a year! We've had 2....
