He will be fine. Dogs' digestive systems are designed to eat many questionable, (to us), things. They have extremely strong stomach acid to break down the bones they'd naturally eat if they were wild, and their intestines are relatively short, so any revolting things that they ingest, like dead rodents or rotting garbage, don't have time to multiply and cause illness.
And remember, many dogs eat poop,
and most lick their butts
with no ill effects.
I feed a raw diet, so my dogs have eaten raw chicken, including the bones, for many years with zero ill effects. When I adopted Daisy, I switched her from kibble to raw chicken necks in one day, no problems. If he throws up, it will likely be from the volume of food, not the fact that it was raw chicken.
