I will admit I have been browsing this site for quite some time. I finally gave up the nerve to join. & here I am! My name is Jennifer & I am currently owned by 2 beagles named Target & Lilly. I am also owned by 4 ferrets, 2 rats, & 1 cat. I have my hands full, pretty much.
Target was my first beagle, he's 1 & 6 months exactly.
Lily is 10 months, I just so happened to have picked her up last week. She goes for her spay next Wednesday, she's definitely not looking forward to that. When we picked up Lily, she pretty much made herself at home. Target was a bit jealous at first, but that has finally calmed down. They're currently running around the house fighting over a single bone. There is at least 4 of them hidden within the home, but only one seems to be the most important, figures.
Target I had gotten from a friend at 9wks. He came into the house as if this has always been his home. He's my shadow, pretty much a Momma's boy.
Lily was a shelter dog, who was abandoned by her previous owners at their home which had been foreclosed. She was left there to fend for herself. The neighbors had called the ASPCA to let them know. Lily was very thin, hungry & lethargic. She was about 4 months old when this had happened. I had seen photos of what she had looked like when the ASPCA had picked her up, and it was utterly heart breaking. Lily is now thriving & a very healthy pup.
Target of course is the big guy, & Lily looks more like a little girl.
