Well, If Homer learned one thing from Goober well, It was FOOD!
Homer only needed one feeding of Elk trimmings to become fussy about his breakfast! Homer refused to eat his breakfast without elk-meat juice on it!!!
But,
Homer has Warmed-up to me now that Goober is gone & accepted
the fact that our best-bud is gone! (I really miss my beag
coling-up in my arm-pit for the night)! But Homer-the-Huge has
taken to lying back to back, to share his warmth with me in
the cold nights ahead!

Eric, I know how much you must miss your buddy. Glad Homer is doing his part to help you.

Thanks Glenda & all! Homer was very attached to Goober as well!
It took a full month for him to warm-up-to me after I was
the one to take Goober on a one way trip! (In hindsight, I
should have let Homer sniff Goobers body before I buried him)!
