Foxy- Can jump like Tigger, The only one to Arooo properly, does very smelly Foxy-Farts. Very good at catching

Gwenni- Gwenni bouces like tigger too, and waves her front paws a lot. Wriggly. Brings a ball back

At a PetCo where a shelter adoption was being held. I went to look at a miniature schnauzer and Maggie was in the crate next to it. Decided not to get the schnauzer and the shelter person begged me to take Maggie who, when I first went to pet her, tried to bite me! We've come a long way since then.

Blaze went camping with us to Burney Falls, Buster from Monterey to Walnut Creek and Boomer went from Clovis to Sacramento to Walnut Creek

Their backs just in front of the tails, and everybody loves tummy rubs. Boomer will smack you with a paw if you stop too soon.

Since she doesn't like to ride, the farthest traveling has been to the vet in East Ridge, TN.

It varies. Some days she's out chasing squirrels, others she spends sleeping.

At a "kill Shelter" in a cage at after hours (about 8 PM) where he was scheduled for termination that evening after midnight.

I like em all but seeing the Bagel tail (Flying his flag high) and the nose to the ground warms my heart!

He can tell the difference between pigeons he runs out of our backyard and Doves and another birds whom he pays no never mind to.

traveled?

Bagel vacations and explores with me: He has been to maybe 100 Off-Road races, 500 Ghosttowns, and Numerous Nevada Wildlife Federation meeting, He has sniffed and explored major parts of the California Desert,Southern Oregon,, Southern Idaho, Wyoming, Colorado, Utah, New Mexico, Arizona, and all over Nevada.

His ears but he loves his tummy rubbed (not scratched) as well!

Not a slug, he is "Sniff the Mighty Hunter" He is an old man (between 12 and 14 I suspect) but thinks he is still a young go getter. Still runs around the house, leaps on and off beds, rocks, and high clearance off-road vehicles.

His volor is faded blue with his tags.
His harness is faded hunter orange.

He wears them both, the Bagel and I are not fashion concious.

I saw her picture online at the Tampa Bay Beagle Rescue web site. I never got to see her in person until the day I adopted her. That was August 21, 2005 in the parking lot for the Suncoast Expressway at the exit for Highway 54!

Mmmm....I can't pick just one! I love her soft velvety ears, Beagle Belly Freckles, and her tea pot handle curly tail.

She knows that when the timer goes off on the oven it usually means treats are coming out, she can jump incredibly high, and I'd say the biggest thing is that she knows when I'm coming to get her at day care 20 minutes before I get there.

Under the blankets...either on the sofa or in the bed curled up against my legs.

traveled?

From just north of Tampa to just north of Atlanta.

She loves to have her chin scratched and Beagle Belly Rubs!

More athlete than slug. At day care they tell me she never stops. At home, she likes to chill on the sofa. I think that's because she never stops going at day care.

She has several...solid purple, one with neon/pastel stripes, a pink & purple one with daisy's on it and a blue one with multi-colored dog paw prints on it. Her harness & leash are purple plaid with green and purple daisy's.

Austin - local park, transported by Beagle Rescue
Megan - local humane society the night she was to be PTS.

Austin - his eyes and 5 inch tail
Megan - her eyes, black wiskers and abundant ticking

5) What talent(s) does your beagle possess?

All 3 are love sponges. They will take all the loving and attention they can get and then ask for more. Shasta has her own little language and frequently talks to her self. Austin can spin in circles like a little break dancer. Megan is a Diva in training and fully expects to be raised to royalty any day now.

sleep?

Shasta since she is my "industrial size" Beagle standing at 17 inches sleeps in any available dog bed at night, but her contract states that our king-size bed is hers for the 12 hr period of 9am until 9pm where she can be found stretched out as far as she can.
Ausin spends at least half the night tucked in tight next to me.
Megan will get up on our bed and sit there and wait for us before she settles down. She is another snuggler. All 3 must have their blankets for all to be well in the world. Megan 50% of the time worms her way under the covers with a loud contented sigh and stays there until the whole gang decided to get up.

7) Where is the farthest your beagle has
traveled?

All 3 are real homebodies and have never been out of town. All 3 love to ride in the car but it sometimes becomes a zoo.

8) Where is your beagle's favorite place to be
scratched?

For Shasta it is ears, ears and ears.
Austin is a belly man. He has been know to flop down on the sizewalk trying to convince someone, anyone that he is going to die unless someone scratches his belly. Around here we call them "belly do's". As in "do my belly - now"!
Megan for some reason likes to have her whiskers stroked and second to that the ears.

On the whole I would have to say slug. But they certainly are the neighborhood busy bodies having to check out everything that goes by the house.
