You might be a ******* if..."You traded your truck for a dog"! That may apply to some ********...but my, "ol reliable" 1982 Ford F-150 4x4 is worth way more than the measly $100 bucks I paid for Goober! (He has been the best purchase I can think of for the money)! And speaking of birthdays...He will be 15 in less than a month!

A Doghouse, Goober was born on 12 April 1992. And he still acts like a much younger beag despite being nearly half blind & half deaf! This saturday he gets to visit the vet for his annual shots, but "it is a treat for him"...as they feed him plenty of treats & he is one of their favourite patients! (They really love Goober as he is the eldest/"grandpa beag" among their patients)!

NM& LB...I will probably take Goober & Homer to Falls Park like I did last year. They really loved to meet the other dogs & people in the park & to try to get a good sniff of the fish the kids caught from the kiddie fishing pond & the ducks & geese that frequent the area! (I have to keep a tight reign on "Homer-the-Huge" as he is "a bit much" for the smaller kids...but all of the kids absolutely LOVE the gentile "grandpa beag" Goober! And after a good walk last year in the park I treated them & myself to a vanilla ice cream cone from Dairy queen on the ride home! (Do I spoil my "boy's"? )Nahhh!
