Razzle left for the Bridge in September '03, from heart failure. He lived a good long life and died at age 16. Razzle was blessed with the sweetest most loving personality ever. Small children could pull his ears and his tail, and he would never complain. I miss his patient nature still...

When we got Jazzy, Razzle would try to play with her, bless his sweet heart. Jazzy was such a whirlwind of lab puppy activity, but Razzle and Callie enjoyed her antics, almost as if remembering their puppyhood. This picture is of the three of them.

Lastly, My heart dog, Callie. Very few days go by that I don't think of her and still miss her intensely. Callie was with me until 3/04, she went to the Bridge after a long battle with bladder cancer. Only 6 months after Razzle's death. Callie was the most mischeivious puppy I ever had. She tore up more shoes, toys,etc... even ate the bottom of our cabinets. I loved her dearly though, and there will never be another Callie.

I agree, Sandy!

Regular Heaven is no doubt very nice but Rainbow Bridge is where I hope to go.

I'm sure God knows where to send us when our time comes...if we qualify.

NC...Razzle and Callie have that special "look". I can see it from here. Won't it be wonderful to see them again?

What a beautiful tribute to your beautiful twosome. I can't imagine losing them so close together, what a hard time that must have been for you and for Jazzy too (do you still have Jazzy?)

I agree with the others, I hope heaven is full of wagging tails and wet noses!

What a hard thing that was for you Tess, losing your babes so close together. They were both so precious, and o doubt are happily reunited at the Bridge, watching over you and Jazzy.

Yes, I still have Jazzy. She is a hefty 70lb big Lab now! She was a great source of comfort after Callie passed on. Sometimes I think Callie and Razzle were still directing things after they left us by sending Teddy to us as a rescue 3 years ago and Phoebe to us as a puppy this year. Somehow I think we are all connected! /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif

Heartbreaking reading these stories. Dogs are like children. Thats why its important to get another dog or dogs once one loses a loved one. One cant replace a child or dog, but one can give the love to another one.
