i hope this helps, and that im not breaking forum rules by posting this link. i just think theres a few of us on here that need the help. but this site is here for a purpose and every little bit helps. please dont forget to keep maggie in our prayers too. bernie gets tons of them, and we think maggie should get a good bit of them too.

Hi Rick!

That's a very nice site.

St. Francis of Assisi and St. Roch are often most associated with animals.

My favorite saint is St. Martin de Porres and as the first black saint, he is always overlooked where animals are concerned.

If you read about him, it says that he communicated with rats at the monastery and warned them to stay away because the head monk had poison put out for them. And he also opened a shelter for sick and injured animals where he nursed them back to health.

He also happened to not eat meat.

i just found the site. i figured there were several of us on here that might be able to use it, and to help out there too. its honestly nice to see something like this out there. i wonder if theres more and ive not found them yet?
