I applied K9 Advantix 55 on Sadie and Pooh Saturday. which would be 4 days ago. They both went out into the yard right after I applied it and the sprinklers were on and both got wet. Could this have washed off the medication? Both are itching and scratching a lot and I just found a flea on Pooh Bear. I'll call my vet and and them this today also. thanks,

No idea! Did they get completely wet?

I believe it's recommended that you do not bathe them within 1 week (24 hours at the very least). however, this is a slightly different case since they were just around the sprinklers.

On a somewhat related note, does anyone use oral flea/tick treatments?

Did you have your back yard treated? I can't remember if you mentioned it the last time we talked about the flea/tick meds.
