Today was Derby's pampering(he had so much fun and managed to pee in Petsmart twice when I wasn't looking) :evilgrin: All day he's had these white flakes on his fur and when I brush them off they come right back. I'm thinking it's dandriff, so I checked out the grooming center and they have some shampoo that is specially formulated to "relieve itching from dandruff and flakes". Is it dandriff? Should I buy the shampoo?

P.S: He hasn't been scratching, so it might not be dandriff.

It happened to Chloe too... I think it is dandruff. I didn't do anything though, and it was gone in a few days. I checked around a little and learned that sometimes it happens due to change in weather... :conf12:

You can try adding olive oil to his food. It enriches the coat and makes it shiny too.

Could well be dandruff. Try putting a tiny drop of vegetable oil in the food.

Because it the air is so dry around here for everyone, I image the dry air is working on the Beags too. I keep a pot of water on the stove. Makes a huge difference to everyone involved....including The Children!
