Long time Beagle lover/owner...new to the forum...just wanted to send a shout out to all those Beagle lovers. I rescued my Beagle when he was just over a year old. He came from an abused home that used him as a hunting dog. Apparently, the hunting gig didnt work out, and poor George ended up in a shelter.
Good thing I came along! George now has been living strong for going on 7 years now! He knows sit, stay, shake, and down! Great addition to my family. We are introducing a puppy German Shepherd dog later in January! George will have his first playmate!
Wish us luck! Ive served 9 years honorably in the US Army, and I simply love dogs!
All your advice, knowledge, and education from you to me, and vise versa is much appreciated!
