only thing that is driving me crazy is the biting and chewing on my hands!
she just won't quit, i've tried everything from spraying my hands with bitter apple, to Ouch, to pushing her away and not messing with her. Just don't what to do.
Dixie is just too cute! She wanted her bone and made sure you knew. They are such hams when they are babies. I miss having a puppy now that Jersey is all grown up, but Mike says I can't get another one.
About the nipping/biting, stick with it. Marley was real bad with this. I now can understand that he was extremely playful which your Dixie looks like she is. She will learn that it is inappropriate play as she gets older. Stick with it and try different things like yelling ouch real loud each and everytime, or put a toy in her mouth, etc.
