How do you handle embarrassing moments like when your pup has an accident in the house, and you have company? Happened to us last night.

Accidents don't even phase me, He's getting better on the housebreaking everyday, but when company finds the puddle, what do you say/do?

I'm sure your guests realize he's a puppy and expect such things to happen. So don't sweat it.

Now if he started humping a guest's leg...well that's a different story.

I say laugh it off and don't worry about it.

i would just play it off like i suspected the guest of making the puddle. scold them and show them where the bathroom is. tell them to clean up their own mess.

Just clean it up and more on. If someone gets upset, they obviously have no clue.
