So, Elizabeth was crated the other night while we were gone. Our little escape artist met us at the door when we returned an hour later. The first thing we noticed was that about a dozen slats were missing from our vertical blinds. They were in the floor, chewed to bits! Then my son saw that she had peeled the upholstery off of the footrest on the love seat. My initial reaction was to throw a blanket over it so dh wouldn't freak out. After a moment, I showed it to him, and he took it pretty well. He seemed more concerned that she was so distressed while we were gone. Next time, we used a couple of extra snap clips to secure her crate. Now, I'm off to buy an upholstery needle...

That reminds me of my sofa, Charlie chewed off a hole in it. Unholstery needle...why didn't I think of that, I just used regular needle on a leather couch, it hurt my fingers so. Once I get that picture on a disk, I'll show you my work on the couch. Can't believe our beagles taught us to me handy and skillful. :biglaugh:
