I was in the kitchen today with the puppies and my daughter was napping in her bedroom. The kitchen is all gatted off so the little ones can't escape. While I was in the kithen the pups were hanging around me as I was preparing food :biglaugh: (big suprise lol) Well Lily wakes up screaming (she has a nasty cold) so I go quickly to go get her...try to jump the gate and instead land on the tub of dog food knocking half of it out, aswell as down the stairs LOL Grace has never been my strong point. Just thought I would share my clumsy action of the day /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif

Anybody go scrambling for all that spilled gold? I mean kibble? Hope you didn't hurt yourself!
:lol2:
LOL! Hope you're okay! Sounds like something I would do!
I hope you did not hurt yourself. I did even more clumsy thing then you can think when my kids were younger. I am just glad the house still stand. :biglaugh:

Hmmm,That reminds me of the time that I had the flu & I was eating a large order of chili-fries that my parents had brought to me from "burger-haven" while Duke was visiting with me & Goober in the mid-1990,s! I had finally mustered the strength to answer the door to accept it & as I was eating it @ the kitchen sink...It slipped off the counter & landed on the floor to be pounced upon by Duke & Goober! Needless to say, they ate most of it! If I remember correctly...I had a microwaved can of chicken soup for supper that day!
That really made me laugh b/c I can relate. I'm not exactly what you would call graceful either. I hope your daughter was okay too.
I can imagine myself doing that! /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/laugh.gif
I'd probably scare the daylights out of Abby too but hey FREE DOG FOOD! RUN! RUN!

The dogs must have thought it great!!! Bet there was nothing left for you to clear up.
Grace is no where in my name, either! :eyes: I'm pretty much a walking disaster (I'm lucky, to still be walking)! :smack: At one point, my hubby was afraid the doctor would think I was being abused 'cause every time I saw him I was bruised and battered from one mishap or another. /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/eek.gif

That sounds just like something I would do too! I am so clumsy!!!
Grace is not on my list of attributes either. LOL! A couple of weeks ago I fell. I had gone to check the mail and was walking to my car. The walkway was clear, nothing to trip on. I somehow lost my balance, stumbled a few feet and landed on the hood of my car. I actually fell out of my shoes (they were slides) about four feet from where I landed. Then, since it was rainy, I slid down off the car and landed face first on the pavement. My entire front was soaked, my mail was all over the place. I scraped up and bruised my elbow (it still hurts to lean on it sometimes) and got a big bruise and scrape on my knee (through jeans that didn't rip????). I also had some nice bruises across my boobs from where I landed on my car. Thankfully noone other than Jersey saw me.

Maybe there is something that draws clumsy people to beagles - since I'm another one! In January 2006 I even managed to slip and break my ankle while WALKING - of course doing it in January made everyone who saw me on crutches think I did it skiing or something remotely athletic, but I know the truth. And I can try to blame Moosie (long story but he was somewhat involved) but in reality it was just me being my usual clumsy self. All three hounds did get to ride in the ambulance with me, though!
