Best Friends is such a great facility.

Dusty and I toured it when we went out West a couple of years ago. That was one of the highlights of that vacation for me.

Elektra came from Tampa !!! we took 8 beagles to Dallas and met the folks from Best Friends last summer.

Best Friends is such a great place and we love our connection to them.

Be sure to watch the Dog Town season 3 premier tonight at 10 pm ET on National Geographic where the story of Elektra will be told.

I can't believe that someone gave Elektra up because she was heartworm positive!

If they had given her heartworm preventative it probably wouldn't have happened in the first place.

I just watched that episode. She is a beautiful beagle. I am sure glad she ended up with Best Friends. Hopefully she is having a great life now.

I wouldlove to travel out there and volenteer. In the horse section as well as dog, oh cats to. I did see that episode as well.
