So... we went to one of the shelters not too far from us and found the most adorable beagle! He actually isn't up for adoption yet, he just came into the shelter a few days ago and the owners have another 5 days to claim him. Then he gets neutered and gets put up for adoption. It was so cute to watch him play outside with the other dogs. He looked very playful but still submissive which is good for us if we want another. We haven't made a decision yet though and Daisy and Rocky would have to approve too
Here's a picture of him though!

What a gorgeous boy! Oh, I vote yes!!! But then, I have 3 dogs, a cat and a bird, so I'm probably the wrong person to ask.

Honestly, we always had the 2 labs until we got Duke last July, and we never noticed the 3rd dog being that much extra work, other than the fact that he was a beagle puppy, so that automatically meant more work in training. When Roscoe passed, we were back down to 2 and then we got Vi and brought the count back to 3, once again, we didnt' think there was a significant difference in the amount of work between 2 and 3. Expenses, yes.
Good thing there are no beagles at our local shelter or lord knows how many we'd have! As it is, we had to travel to LA to find our little Violet at their shelter.
