Crating

Our pup will be six months in December. He has sporadic accidents around the house.

He is crated while we're at work, however my husband goes home to feed him lunch and walk him and he usually gets an afternoon potty break. He will still pee in his crate! We've taken his comfy bed out, left him with just a towel. 3 mornings this week were fine but he had a couple of afternoon accidents. He did have an accident this morning, so for the afternoon he'll have nothing in his crate.

What else can I do???

Sounds like your little guy is still young. Don't worry about it too much, as my Java was had that problem when he was that age. He's 14 months now and there's definitely light at the end of the tunnel. Some dogs just can't/won't hold it that long at first. I kept with his potty schedules and made sure he associated pottying outside as a positive behavior. My washing machine was running non-stop to clean all the urine drenched towels. I also became a stock holder of Nature's Miracle.
