Well, I was sure the pain killers and e-collar would slow him down a little but that ain't happenin'! Cole came home as energetic (and hungry)as ever yesterday and woke up today ready to go!

Roscoe still does not know what to make of the e-collar, I think he is a little scared of it.

I can see why the collar would be a little intimidating from Roscoe's point of view. Glad to hear Cole is making a good recovery.

Well, the collar didn't last a full day! I took it off of him yesterday because he just wasn't functioning properly and since taking it off, he is fine! He only licked his wound once or twice and it doesn't seem to be bothering him one bit. Roscoe was the same way. I have the collar ready to go if we need it but something tells me we will be just fine.
The vet tech was even smirking when she told me the collar has to stay on for 10 days! TEN DAYS???? Are you kidding me!

He is actually a chocolate. The coloring on his head is a bit lighter than the rest of his body.
