I wouldnt let him eat too many bits. Although they usually pass through they sometimes cause problems. Maybe get Harley a 'kong' and fill it with treats, or hard rubber toys. Our Susi likes to shred carrots, she literally leaves a little heap, but no problem, along comes Snoopy and hoovers them all up.
