Hi, everyone! We suspect that we have a good number of BW members who read the messages regularly but who do not post very often. Maybe that is because their lives are too hectic or maybe they do not feel very comfortable about posting new topics or answers to other members' questions.

It is perfectly understandable and acceptable for folks to only post here once in a while but, when we do not hear from people, many of us find ourselves wondering what those folks have been up to recently and how their pack is doing.

Checking in is a topic that we start on the first of each month where BW members can post to let everyone else know how they are doing. You may just want to say Hi! We are still here and we are doing fine or you may want to tell us more...either way we would love to hear from you!

I just flew back home to Vancouver this morning. We signed the closing papers this afternoon even though the closing doesn't happen till Wednesday. We should have the closing on our new home on Friday. Tucker hates traveling so the vet gave us some sedatives for the trip. Our new house was a foreclosure so ther is lots of work to do. The one bad thing about it is it has no fences. I will put up a temporary fence for the time being and then later I will put up a fence for the yard. Hopefully we can convince our new neighbors that they want a fence too and they will split the cost. We are real excited to get the pack back together again. When Glenda picked me up at the airport today she brought Tucker with her. When he saw me he started screaming. Thats the best word to describe it. It sounded like someone was torturing him. I took him for a walk when I got home and now it is back like I haven't been gone. Now when I head back to Utah next week Tucker gets to go with me. Oh, the wife can come too.

Hi everyone!
I'm new to the boards and beagle ownership, but I have been posting a bit. Right now we're just working on getting through the first week and figuring out Rocky's bathroom cues. No accident in the crate last night...pretty good for his 3rd night! He also cried less. Progress!! I work M-Th and evenings are activities for the kids so I don't know how much I'll be around for May-busy month!

Hello from Bonnie and me, we're still around and still leading a quiet life here in Virginia. Bonnie is doing pretty well, she doesn't get around too friskily nowadays but is known to have sudden bursts of puppy like energy! I can hardly believe that she will be 13 in October. I will sort through some photo's and post one of my lovely white faced Boo shortly! Hope alls well with everyone!

I read Beagle World every morning first thing. I love seeing the pictures and hearing what other Beagles are doing. Our Maggie has grown from the 2 lbs. 2 ozs. when we brought her in at 8 weeks to 10 lbs. at four months. At first we questioned her Beagle bono fides but no longer. Her head and ears are about half tan now and she is beginning to look like a dog. We pretty much have the peeing under control--she pees first thing when we take her out--but the poops keep cropping up in hidden places. How many times a day can one puppy poop? She's still worrying Bo and pulling hair from his tail. She doesn't bite toes much, if you keep your shoes on. She walks on a leash with her new pink harness. I've been learning on my new Photoshop Elements 7 and I need to get some new pictures to post. It's like having a new baby--some day you just wish you could come home and it wouldn't be there. She's put in Robert's study with her bed around eleven and sleeps through the night with no accidents. She likes to get up on the sofa with me for our afternoon nap. I put her down by my feet but she squirms up to put her head right next to mine. I had to do a sleep study the other night and I really missed her; then when I got home, I wondered what I had missed so much. Thanks so much for Beagle World for letting me know about Beagles and what to expect as our little surprise grows up.

Hello, I just registered yesterday. Can't say that I will be posting too frequently, but I will be doing a lot of reading. We've had our 10 week old beagle for only 4 days now, and we are currently in the process of crate training her. It's really difficult at the moment, because her crying and howling just breaks our heart, but I know we have to be strong because it's for her safety until she is able to roam around the place freely. Will be checking in whenever we can though.

Life has been crazy busy lately and shows no signs of slower for a while. I don't get on to BW as often as I'd like, but me and Duke and Violet (and the rest of the zoo) are still around and doing well.

JUDY!!!!

Guess what! After 2 years, we finally have a new computer and I can navigate my favorite forum quickerthanthis!!!!

To reintroduce myself; my name is Denise. I have my hurricane beagle, Henry B., who is the love of my life. And we also have his sweet little brother, Yodel, also from Louisiana. They are both cajun beagles but both completely different. I have virtually had to quit BW because our 10 yr. old computer made it impossible to navigate. As of tonight, we have a new one. Still have alot to change over but I can't believe that I got to BW and wrote this message on the big reply screen so fast. I'm over the moon! So glad to be back.

I can't believe it! Just a quick check before I take Casey to school and I literally got on in 2 seconds. This is crazy. I want to post photos...I love to post photos. But my photos are still on the old computer. We aren't finished switching everything over. I still might be able to do it. Will try later. Thanks Jassy, Sandy and Jenand Gale...and Judy; I appreciate the welcome.

Woo Hoo!

Denise
