Don't read this if you have a weak stomache-kinda gross. I went to let the dogs in and discovered a mangled, half eaten bird laying on the step. Casey promptly came running up and grabbed it and shook it as if to say "look what I brought you don't you want it?" I told her to drop it and quickly disposed of it. Hunter seems to have no interest in this at all while Casey has a very active prey instinct.

I know all about dead birds. Chloe had grabbed a partly decomposed bird (that's what I discovered later...) and she stank for days after. Even after I gave her the bath of a lifetime (including soap in her mouth - for the stench)...

You should have thanked Casey for the lovely present... /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/doh.gif
