I get so few pictures of Shasta because she is very shy around a camera. I have lots of shots of her backside as she takes off, but very few of face shots. So I just had to share. It is not great (camera phone), but at least it proves that she does exist! :lol2:

Monica, Shasta came with her name when we adopted her 8 years ago. She is basically tan with a white face and just a light frosting of black on her back. Sounds like a cake doesn't it. She is a big girl. About 16 to 17 inches tall and when we got her 38 lbs but now down to 30. She is very shy and timid and has the nickname "Wimpkins". My first though also when we brought her home was Shasta Daisy! I even purchase a light switch cover that shows a Beagle sitting in a field of Shasta Daisies. This is of course "her light switch cover. She likes to talk and will give you her opinion with very little prompting. She is without a doubt the most healthy Beagle we have ever owned.
