Here's another "I'm clueless" question... What are the blue numbers in parenthesis that are after the black numbers in the threads and posts columns?

I only see red numbers in parenthesis.... and those are indicators of new posts and threads.

I dunno, maybe it has something in the theme that yours is showing? Let me check what happens if I change my theme.

Yep, when I choose a different "skin" I get other colors: in black and gold I get gold, in BW1 I get blue, in BW2 I get green... and so on.

I was just playing around with the themes, and yes, some of the themes make the numbers in parenthesis red, and some make them blue.

Thanks for explaining what the numbers mean...it all makes sense now! LOL

The numbers in () indicate how many new threads or posts in that section since your last visit.

You will also see a little

image to show what posts are new in that thread when go into it to read them since your last visit.

This is one of the added features on the new software to help you save time in threads and such.
