One of our butterfly bushes has just started blooming. The butterflies are beginning to notice.

Beautiful. Will a butterfly bush survive as a potted plant? One of the downsides of apartment life...no yard for flowers.

It should if its a good size pot and you follow the same instructions as for outside. A good garden center probably could tell you. They are perennial, so you can trim it down, cover it up and have it next year.

Jen, just what Cheryl said. You can trim them to be whatever size you want and they are easy to take care of.
