That was our Roscoe. He was actually blind for the last 5 years of his life and was very hard of hearing toward the end. BUT.......he could sniff out a tennis ball anywhere in the house, and if I whistled the Meaty Bone song, he was there as fast as the others!
Sorry to hear Goob is becoming bedridden. I guess the old warrior needs his rest. The seniors really are so special, aren't they? And they learn to adapt quite well to the changes that aging puts them through.
